Nestled in the heart of Perth on the bustling High Street, Lamesa Filipino Scottish Restaurant is a captivating culinary gem that masterfully fuses the rich, vibrant flavors of Filipino cuisine with beloved Scottish influences. This unique blend creates an extraordinary dining experience that delights the senses from the very first bite.
The menu at Lamesa offers a thoughtfully curated selection of dishes that showcase this harmonious cultural interplay. From the comforting staple of steamed jasmine rice to the tantalizingly fragrant garlic fried rice and Lamesa’s special fried rice, each side serves as a perfect accompaniment to the main offerings. Guests rave about standout dishes like the succulent pork belly and the richly savory beef bulalo, all served with expertly paired rice options. For those eager to explore a bit more, the vegetable spring rolls and Okra & Ukoy starters provide delightful textures and fresh, vibrant flavors, enhanced further by tasty dips that create perfect flavor balances.
One cannot overlook the standout beverages that complement the culinary fare beautifully. Whether it’s a glass of sparkling strawberry and elderflower — described as “like bottled sunshine” with its medium-sweet rosé notes — or the crisp and refreshing Scottish "prosecco," the sparkling gooseberry, each sip lifts the dining experience into something truly celebratory.
What truly elevates dining at Lamesa is the welcoming atmosphere. Guests consistently praise the warm, homely vibe combined with attentive and knowledgeable staff who often go above and beyond. One memorable highlight is the bespoke cocktail service; despite cocktails not being on the menu, the team crafts exceptional Philippine-inspired cocktails tailored to guests’ preferences, transforming the visit into a personalized, immersive encounter with Filipino culinary culture.
Comfort and accessibility are thoughtfully considered too. Whether visiting for a casual lunch, a birthday celebration, or a cozy dinner on a chilly evening, patrons enjoy a relaxed space that is easily accessible, with nearby parking and an inviting ambiance that strikes the perfect balance between casual and refined.

From start to finish an amazing experience, the service and food was as good as it gets, loved the place. Nothing was too much trouble. I asked for cocktails which wasn't on the menu and omg did they deliver!! The member of staff knew exactly how make an outstanding cocktail, I had three different ones that wasn't on the menu but where from the Philippines. The food was outstanding! And the price was good for what you got, I almost felt like I was robbing the place. Will definitely be back, my new favourite place to eat. I don't just recommend, do yourself a favour and go. I recommend the tapas.

Incredible! Really really nice food and lovely service. Quaint restaurant and well located on the main ‘shopping’ street. Atmosphere was homely and comfoetable. I ordered the pork belly and rice, and spring rolls with the guyana juice. Delectable! All of it was so good! They even gave me complimentary beef broth which was so nice and warming. I will say the spring rolls were over priced for just 2x pieces. But my main was totally fair charged (cheap!)

Visited for a birthday lunch and it was fantastic. We did not book a table prior to dining but there were tables available. Easy access for people with mobility issues and close to parking in George Street/High Street. The staff greeted us and made us feel so welcome. A fushion of Scottish and Filipino cuisine and it is a brilliant idea/combination. We ordered starter and main dishes. Something to suit all tastes and dishes were explained to us too. A great restaurant and a fantastic addition to the food scene in Perth. Oh and we have visited 3 times now! So that say's it all!

Visited with a friend who had purchased an Itison voucher. The itison set menu was much larger than anticipated and offered a really good variety to chose from. We received complimentary beef broth to begin which was unexpected but lovely. Then we did Okra & Ukoy for starters, both perfect portion sizes and tasty dips. Mains we opted for beef bulalo & adobong tiyan nang baboy with garlic fried rice. Again good portions, lots of flavour and melt in the mouth meat. Insanely good value for Itison, welcoming service & nice atmosphere. The main menu is also very reasonably priced. Look forward to returning to try more dishes.

Im so happy perth has a place that does incredible Philippines food I have worked alongside alot of friends from the Philippines that are over working in scotland in the power sector and had the pleasure of trying food from them when working away. So when I seen the sighn "opening soon" in perth I couldn't wait to go in and see what they had on the menu. We had the vegetable spring rolls that was a taste of there own completely different from other Asian restaurants( i.e fillings). That came with a lovely vinegary sweet chilli sauce not to hot sweet for my partner. I had the fried okra that I had never tried before with a chilli vinegar unreal dont be scared to try, if you like a nice heat thats not over powering the chili vinegars for you. For main i had the pork belly slow cooked in soya sauce with garlic fried rice, im not usually a fan of the fatty bit of the pork belly from when I have had it before. But talk about flavour bomb, no chewy fat! melt in the mouth the marinade is unreal best bit of pork belly ive ever had. !!That good you start shaking your head in disbelief!!! Full thing was unreal from the carrots to the crispy garlic threw the fried rice. My Partner had the chicken tocino jasmine rice bowl. The combination of flavours were well put together with the pickled vegetables to the sweet cured chicken that was cooked to perfection, the portion size was perfect and the presentation was visually pleasing would highly recommend this dish Also the soft drinks from the Philippines where super tasty and fun to try work out what they might compare to that we have had before -that was hard so we had to try 4 of them. Over all amazing was stuffed after 2 starters and 2 mains will be back for a main and dessert looking forward to trying more from this amazing new restaurant in perth. Also pricing is bang on for quality of food and portions. What an experience of flavours Highly recommend

First time visiting Lamesa, we opted for the Tapas menu which was a great way to try a few different dishes we were unfamiliar with. The food was lovely and well presented, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We were provided some complimentary beef broth which was ideal on a cold, windy evening! (Photos don't do the food justice!)
